Excellent Resource on Champaign County, Illinois Civil WarThis book is a complete review of the persons who served in the Civil War from Champaign County, Illinois. Robert Behrens has done an exceptional job of researching the subject. This book is a must have for anyone interested in the Civil War, family history or local history. I recommend this book highly.

Interesting book!Being from this area myself, I was very interested in the photographs that were presented in this work. As I live almost 2,000 miles away from the area now, this book helped to alleviate some of my homesickness.
The photos show special moments in Champaign-Urbana's history (presidents' visits and the like) as well as shots of Chanute AFB and Danville, among others.

It is a good reference tool for any linguist who speaks multiple romance languages.

A good picture book of the university of Illinois at UCThis book is a nice picture book of the university. It has some text describing the main things at the university from past to present. It is just a shame that there is too much focus on the athletic side, and less on the academic side, which in my opinion, is a much stronger side of the university. This is a nice book to give to alumni or visitors.
